Kids Pottery Course

Service Description

Unleash your child's inner artist with our 5-week beginner pottery class designed just for kids 9-15 years old. They'll get a hands-on experience with clay, learning the fundamentals of throwing on the wheel, trimming, hand building, and glazing. Our instructor will be on hand to guide and encourage each student as they explore their creative potential. Set in a safe and comfortable environment, our studio provides a perfect space for kids to express themselves and have fun. Each student will be provided with enough clay to work with, and they'll have the opportunity to keep up to 6 of their finished pieces. As they progress through the class, they'll gain valuable skills and techniques that will last a lifetime, all while having a blast and making memories in our exciting and fulfilling pottery class. Preparing for class: - Wear comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting dirty - Closed toe shoes recommended - Trim down nails as having long nails do interfere with the process and can make the process difficult - Bring your own apron (Clayat aprons also available for purchase in studio) - Class fees cover everything from instruction to clay, glaze, firing, and use of studio tools Spaces are filling up fast - don't delay!
